Extraordinary
This extraordinary project is created for neuro-disabled people to offer them access to musical practice.
Music here becomes a new means of communication, promoting social connection, particularly for people who are not very verbal or non-verbal.
We are working on:
- managing emotions
- patience
- appeasement
- the space left to make choices and/or proposals)
- the songs (rehearsals/rituals)
- stimulation of grasping and touching
- the pleasure of sharing a moment together
Cultural Summer 2024
Songs & memories of our heritage
With the people welcomed in the house of the right to respite , a day care facility for people with degenerative neurodeficient diseases.
We tried to trace back through their memories, captured testimonies and shared some songs that resurfaced from their memories.
The project ended with a festive moment shared with the families, with songs and an open-air photography exhibition retracing the highlights of this residency.
This project was led by La Verrerie and funded by the PACA regional prefecture.
